Disclosure Tech Capital LLC is a Chanhassen, Minnesota-based studio building consumer software that makes complex data transparent, actionable, and useful for the individual user — first in financial data, now expanding into other formats.

Every product ships end to end from a single team: data engineering, product design, App Store compliance, and monetization all handled in-house rather than farmed out piecemeal.

Ben Sjostrom is a software engineer in Chanhassen, Minnesota. He came to engineering from the hiring side — years as a technical recruiter at Best Buy and U.S. Bank, sitting across the table from engineering teams — before retraining as a developer through Hack Reactor in 2022.

As an engineer, he has built identity and credential-printing systems at Entrust, where he led a Java and Spring Boot modernization, and the React and TypeScript front end of an internal data product at Cargill.

Disclosure Tech Capital is where he builds his own products, and both apps were designed, built, and shipped end to end by Ben alone: the data pipelines behind them, the App Store submissions and compliance work (age ratings, App Privacy declarations, review responses), subscription monetization through RevenueCat, and production support after launch. PortfolioDream has shipped 18 App Store releases. Allegedly went from first build to a live App Store launch in under four weeks.
